WALES
Wales is one of the most beautiful parts of Great Britain. The mountains in Wales are very beautiful. There are many sheep and cattle farms in Wales. Moat of them are in the central part and in North Wales. South Wales is the industrial part of the country. The capital of Wales Cardiff is also a big port.
The English like to spend their holidays in Wales, and every year thousands of people take tieir holidays at the seaside or in villages far from town life.
Wales is known as a Land of Songs. The Welsh people like to sing, and most of them sing. When Welsh girls gather to sing, they wear a tall black hat and a red skirt.
In summer many people from other countries come to Wales, and in the streets you can hear many languages. Some Welsh people speak only Welsh as their native language. Others speak Welsh as their first language and English as their second language. A great many who use English can understand Welsh as well. The Welsh people are proud of their native language, and the Welsh language is now used in many of their schools.
