THE BRITISH MUSEUM LIBRARY
One of the meet interesting sights of London is the British Museum. Its library is the greatest in England. The library contains books written by the authors of all times and countries.
Books may not be taken from the library. There is a great circular Reading Room in the middle of the museum with convenient seats and desks for some 400 readers.
The British Museum Library contains more than six million books. The library has a collection of rare books and manuscripts, including the earliest editions of Shakespeare. There is also an outstanding collection of foreign books.
Among treasures there is the Shakespeare's First Folio and the deed containing his signature. Here also is the collection of books and original Dickens' manuscripts and letters. The map of London printed about 1560 is here too.

ENGLISH CHILDREN
English schoolchildren come to school at nine o'clock in the morning. They come home at twelve o'clock and have dinner. Then they go back to school at two o'clock and have lessons again from two to ten minutes past four.
When an English schoolboy goes to school, he wears a white shirt and a tie with the colours of his school. He wears a grey pull-over and a school jacket over his shirt.
English schoolgirls wear a blouse or shirt and a skirt. They wear their school jacket too. They have black stockings and shoes on.
